Promotion is granted only on the basis of marks obtained by the pupil. Defaulters of payment of fees will not be considered for promotion till after the dues are cleared.

A) Promotion norms for Std I-V
The promotion is based on continuous  evaluation spread over the year.

B) Promotion norms of Std VI- X

Promotion is based on the system of continuous evaluaion which includes periodic tests, assignments, note books and term / annual examinations. A nine point scale as recommended by CBSE is followed.

For classes VI- IX a minimum C2 grade in each subject is required for promotion.

C) Promotion norms of Std XI
A student should secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with a separate minimum of 33%, in each subject in term exams.

In Science subjects a separate minimum is required for theory and practical. The decision of the school is final in the matter of promotion. Representation for reconsideration will not be entertained. Request for pass transfer certificate will also not be entertained. Any ambiguity in the promotion rules/ norms will be decided by the Principal in consultation with the management. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory.

 

 

TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

  • The school Principal is the sole authority to decide on what conditions a child will be admitted, promoted or detained.

 

  •  Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline and to see that their children prepare their lessons well at home.

 

  • Parents are particularly expected to sign the progress reports, examination papers or any other document when so requested. Failure to do this may bring great inconvenience to your ward.

 

  • They are specially requested to notify the school of any change of address.

 

  • When communicating with the school authorities parents are requested to mention in their letters the standard and division of their child.

 

  • Parents are requested to take special care in

a) Sending children to school regularly on time.
b) Encouraging and helping them to do assignment.
c) Helping them to study at home on stipulated time table.
d) Promoting the habit of reading in children.
e) Cultivating the habit of friendship, social concern and general awareness in children.

  • During school working hours, students will be permitted to leave the school only with the parents or a person authorized by the parent in writing.

 

  • Parents/guardians or other persons are not allowed to see their children or interview the teachers without prior sanction of the principal.

 

  • Parents are requested to make all complaints only to the authorities and not to the class teacher.

 

          5% Concession will be given if the fees for the entire academic year is paid in advance in the Ist                   instalment. This concession is applicable for bus fees also.

Parents are requested to pay the fees on or before the due dates. There is no grace period.

  • Fee ( school and bus ) remittance will be through bank only.
